Two types of home insulation grants are available: Homeowners and those in Private Rented Accomodation. 100% grants cover the full cost of cavity wall & loft home insulation. Partial grants for loft or cavity insulation can cover between 40% and 70% of the cost. Grants do not have to be repaid. The loft and cavity will require a free home survey prior to the installation. This survey takes around 30 minutes and you are not obliged to go ahead afterwards.
If you do not qualify for a 100% grant for your loft insulation or cavity wall insulation, don't worry! You will still qualify for a grant to cover somewhere between 40% and 70% of the total installation cost.
